Decadent Chocolate Yogurt Popsicles

Dekadente sjokolade-ysies met Griekse jogurt, stevia en erythritol

Bestanddele:

1/2 koppie slagroom

2 eetlepels kakaopoeier

1/4 erythritol

100g donker sjokolade (verkieslik 85% kakao), fyngekap

450ml Griekse jogurt

25 druppels stevia-ekstrak

1/2 teelepel vanielje-ekstrak

Kombineer slagroom, kakaopoeier en erythritol in ‘n klein kastrolletjie oor ‘n lae hitte en klits tot glad. Laat dit deurwarm word, maar moet dit nie laat prut nie. Voeg gekapte sjokolade by en laat staan vir 2 minute of tot gesmelt. Klits tot glad.

** Afhangend van die sjokolade wat jy gebruik, kan dit krummelrig raak a.g.v. die warm room. Verhoog dan net die hitte effens en voeg nog room by, een eetlepel op ‘n slag, en klits tot glad.

In ʼn mediumgrootte mengbak, meng Griekse jogurt, stevia en vanielje-ekstrak. Roer by sjokolade mengsel. Skep of spuit in ysstokkie-vormpies en vries tot solied, ten minste 2 uur.

Decadent Chocolate Yogurt Popsicles with stevia and erythritol

Ingredients:

 
1/2 cup whipping cream

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1/4 cup powdered erythritol

100g good dark chocolate (preferably 85% cacao), finely chopped

450ml thick Greek yogurt

25 drops stevia extract

1/2 tsp vanilla

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine whipping cream, cocoa powder and powdered erythritol, whisking until smooth. Heat through but do not bring to a simmer. Add chopped chocolate and allow mixture to stand for 2 minutes or until melted, then whisk until smooth.

**Depending on the chocolate you use, it may seize when added to the hot cream. All you need to do is increase the heat a bit and then add more cream, one tablespoon at a time, whisking vigorously until it smooths out.

In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, stevia and vanilla extracts. Stir in chocolate mixture until well combined. Spoon or pipe into popsicle molds, add sticks and freeze until solid, at least 2 hours.

Add fresh berries for a deliciously decadent frozen yoghurt dessert.

Makes 12 small-sized popsicles
